To that end, we have developed a series of free books, including “What Every Virginia Woman Should Know About Divorce,” “What Every Virginia Military Wife Should Know About Divorce,” and “The Woman’s Custody Survival Guide.”  Each of these is available to you absolutely free of charge on our website.

For the last twenty years, we’ve also taught a monthly divorce seminar titled “What Every Virginia Woman Should Know About Divorce,” after Charlie Hofheimer’s popular book.  The seminars became affectionately known as “Second Saturday,” to help remind attendees when it was held.  Today, we hold three seminars on the Second Saturday of each month in Newport News, Chesapeake, and Virginia Beach, and a fourth seminar on the Third Tuesday of each month at our Virginia Beach location.  At each seminar, one of our attorneys is there to present the information and answer questions.

We also teach a second seminar: Custody Bootcamp for Moms.  This comprehensive seminar is offered quarterly at our Chesapeake office location, and is designed to help give moms who plan to litigate their own custody cases a leg up in the Virginia court system.  Designed and presented by Kristen Hofheimer, the seminar is truly one-of-a-kind.
