New Claims of Child Damage in Basketball Star Dwayne Wade’s Divorce Case

Divorce Dwayne Wade Siovaughn gabrielle union
May 6, 2010
- Miami Heat player Dwayne Wade's divorce case is heating up with new allegations coming from his wife, Siohvaugh Wade. A new lawsuit claims that Dwayne's relationship with actress Gabrielle Union was harmful not only to their marriage, but also to the couple's two young sons.

The lawsuit claims Union "engaged in sexual foreplay" in front of the boys, aged 8 and 2, which caused them emotional and mental trauma. There were also claims that the boys only received "medium size gifts" from their father at Christmas while Union got "the biggest gift of all" from the basketball player.

In the reports, the Wade's eldest son is claimed to be suffering from anxiety, manifesting itself in "significant hair loss causing bald spots" and the younger suffering from "feelings of rejection and depression." Dwayne Wade was quoted as saying, "My primary concern is my children and such actions such as this [lawsuit] only inflame the situation and are harmful to their well-being."

Infidelity is a large factor in many Virginia divorce cases and too often the wife is accused of "overreacting" to the news of alleged mistresses. The abandonment and neglect of your family by your husband is a serious issue for women.

As you and your husband struggle with dividing assets and determining eventual child custody, it's important to remember that your children take priority in your life. During an emotionally stressful time such as this, your children should be watched carefully for signs of distress.

If your Virginia divorce claim involves allegations of infidelity, you deserve an attorney who is devoted to dealing with these issues from the women's perspective.
