Virginia Beach Divorce Lawyer explains that a successful divorce is about "Mindset"

Divorce/Custody "Mindset"--You have probably never heard the term. Yet, your "mindset" will often determine the results you achieve in your divorce or custody case. "Mindset"  is conditioning your mind and thoughts to achieve positive outcomes. In short "What the mind can conceive, the heart can believe, you can achieve !" This is not pollyanna thinking. This is tough, disciplined, focused work that requires most folks to read a new genre of books, listen to positive motivated speakers and work on goal setting with a five year horizon.

Once you understand the basics of a custody or a divorce case , The project that next needs to be undertaken is working on your "mindset." ! By immersing yourself in the change of "mindset" process, you are beginning to take your eyes off your spouse and focusing your vision on yourself. This is both healthy and necessary. As long as your spouse dominates your mind, your vision is blurred and negative thoughts prevail. Once your thoughts and actions focus on what you can do to change your circumstance, then the reinvention of self commences. Your vision becomes clearer and more positive thoughts prevail.

Keeping a "mindset" positive is greatly enhanced when a goal setting process in integrated into your divorce.Goal setting begins with creating a vision of where you would like to be in 5, 10 or 15 years. It is getting past the now! You are trying to unleash your dormant creative talents to find a passion that will awaken creative thoughts and energize your soul.Your vision drives your results. As your vision becomes clearer, a plan of action is devised to not only successfully navigate your divorce but also to navigate your future. Soon, your spouse ceases to to dominate your daily life as the more important steps towards your own future are undertaken. In time, as your belief in your vision takes hold of you, the outcome you desire becomes real.

And it all started with changing your "Mindset" -- One of the little known secrets to a successful divorce and life transition.
