Letters are sent on authentic-looking Santa stationary in a colorful holiday envelope that is postmarked from North Pole, Alaska. And each letter is signed by Santa Claus. See example on the right.
The cut off for ordering 2011 Santa letters is midnight Sunday, December 4th. We want to make sure that your letter has plenty of time to get to the North Pole for its postmark and still make it to your special child well before Santa’s big day.

Dear Child's Name, I have been looking at my list of all the good little girls and boys and I see that you’re at the top of the 'Nice List' this year. Great job! I am very proud of you for being so good. Rudolph and I are really looking forward to visiting your home soon. The elves have been very busy making toys for children all around the world, and I know that you would really like for me to bring you Child's gift request. I will certainly try my best to bring you something that you will like. My favorite part of the holiday season is being able to make so many kids happy and share the gifts the elves make each year because sharing is what makes this time of year so special. Optional Custom Paragraph Here Child's Hometown is one of my first stops this year, so be sure to go to bed early because my magic only works when everyone is asleep. And don’t forget to leave out some cookies and milk for me and some carrots for the reindeer! We work up quite an appetite delivering so many toys all around the world.
